If you put toner in the copier upstairs, PLEASE tell Taryn so she can order another one. We can only order ONE at a time.

On Aug 25th, the tech department will be at South to meet with staff.

The emphasis will be on teacher websites. I would strongly encourage you to spend some time this summer to make sure your webpage page is UP-TO-DATE! (Hint, hint...)

ALSO- Open House will be held on Tuesday night instead of Wednesday night. Hopefully this will help make the day before school starts less stressful and exhausting.

I have GREAT news to share. I've been working with Healthy Communities/Healthy Schools, City Council, and JCPD this year to help make sure our students are safe. It has been decided to install sidewalks on the portion of Broadway Street that do not have sidewalks. They will begin at the corner of Fillmore and Broadway. Hopefully this will help keep our students off of the street! Construction should begin in the fall!

The district has purchased a math fact program for next year. This is exciting news given our struggle with teaching students math facts. It is called FASTT Math and I think you will love it. Angie Clark and I went to a presentation and we both gave it two thumbs up. Teacher training will be coming so be on the watch for it. In the mean time, you can check out
