Mrs. Bredberg’s class has gone 860 miles along the 979 mile trail and Miss Service’s class is close on their heels. It is a race to the finish! There are plenty of treats and prizes for all readers. Keep reading and make it to Nome. This year we have had some fabulous readers who have made it to Nome and are now Iron Dogging their way along the trail back to Anchorage. Keep up the great reading. If you do not have an official April calendar log your minutes on a sheet of paper, sign it and return it to school. We love to see all the great reading that is going on.

LIBRARY PAGES
LOST BOOKS
Please take some time to search for any missing library books at home! Any books from other schools can be turned in here and they will be sent to the correct school. It’s never too late to turn in missing books! Lost books may be replaced with any book of equal value (preferably hardback) that kids will want to read. Annabells Used Books is a great place to find replacements.
NURSE RX
HEALTH SCREENINGS
The nurse is finishing up health screening with heights, weights, vision, blood pressures, and hearing.
All should be completed by the end of April. If there are any referrals they will be sent home with your child, and the nurse will follow this up with a phone call.
Also coming home are immunization reminders for children who have been in a waiting period to get the next vaccine, and notices to fifth grade students that are due for their next vaccines. Please note if your fifth grader is due for vaccines and these are not done by the time your child is to start school in the fall they might not be able to start until proof is given to the school.
If you have any questions about screenings or vaccinations needed please call Nurse Moore @ 892-9705.
