Final week to purchase Friendship grams!!
Celebrating Friendship
Dear Families,
The Parent Club has put together a lovely Friendship Gram opportunity that will be delivered to students on February 24th and 25th. Details on ordering Friendship Grams were sent out on Wednesday, January 20 and Thursday, January 21st and can also be found in this bulletin. We want to encourage you to participate in this activity and fundraiser! In addition, we know that many of you like to share cards and treats during the week of February 8-12th to commemorate Valentine's Day and/or Friendship month. If you plan to send anything in this year to share with the class, we ask that anything that needs to be handed out, be turned in to the office, clearly marked with students' names and grade level, by Thursday, February 4th. This will allow an appropriate amount of time for safety of all items being handed out. If any 'treats' are being handed out, due to our current circumstances, they need to be store bought and individually wrapped by the store. Again, they should be dropped off by February 4th. All items will be handed out to the students last period teacher on Thursday, February 11th. We thank you for your understanding and compliance in this matter.

Rare Genes Day
We are proud to support our students who are leaders in the fight for awareness for students and patients experiencing rare genetic diseases. Chloe Wilder, 9th grader at Stellar Charter School, has taken the lead for two years in bringing this awareness first to our campus and now is taking the message countywide!!! She has inspired her classmates and teachers to join her in creating opportunities in Shasta County to support two organizations: Global Genes and 4P- Support Group. Keep reading for background on Global Genes and click on the links below to find out how you can support this great group of Stellar students and these national organizations.
Global Genes: Our Story
Global Genes’ story began with our loved ones. We are the friends, family and supporters of patients close to us who are affected by rare disease. We understand the confusion, the overwhelming experience of the unknown and the feelings of isolation all too well. And we know we aren’t alone. That’s the reason Global Genes was born – to connect, empower and inspire the rare disease community.
For more information on what is going locally to support this cause visit: https://linktr.ee/raregenes
There is a Facebook Live event happening on Friday February 26th at 6:30, follow the link to participate: https://www.facebook.com/events/729388174341463/
