WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 11, 2023
Message from the Principal
Students & Parents,
We hope you've had a great weekend! Last week was another great week at GLOW, and we hope your student is coming home to report the same!
As we strive for excellent communication between our school and your homes, we want you to know about the links on our GLOW Website. Under the "Parent Resources" menu at the top, you can now find "GLOW Parent Weekly Updates," the site that will hold the archives of our GLOW Gazette Family Newsletters. In that same menu, you will also see "AM Announcements." Please be sure to update your contact information as it changes to be sure you are receiving email and text notifications.
Also included in this newsletter is our Beginning of the Year Parent Survey. Please take a few minutes to complete this anonymous and confidential form that provides valuable feedback to our staff.
Wishing you all a great week ahead!

π» CHROMEBOOKSπ»
To date, we have distributed 271 Chromebooks to students, and hope to distribute the rest this week. In order to do so, we need a signed Chromebook Form and $20 Chromebook Fee paid to Leadership Advisory teachers.
If your student has not returned her form and/or payment, please ensure they do so ASAP.
Chromebooks are an essential learning tool in most of our classrooms, so it is important that each student receives their Chromebook as soon as possible.
LEARNING CIRCLES
GLOW Families - help us spread the word about a fun & free opportunity for those outside the GLOW Community.
Learning Circles are free events held once a month on Saturday mornings and are open to all 5th-8th grade girls who currently do not attend GLOW. These interactive mornings offer a great opportunity for siblings and those not familiar with all that GLOW has to offer a chance to participate in fun, hands-on activities, meet new friends, and learn more about what GLOW. Breakfast, lunch, and programming are provided.
For a complete list of dates & activities, CLICK HERE.
Tell your friends and neighbors -- siblings of current GLOW students are welcome too!
