One thing that was true about the book is the boat that the story takes place, the Rapids Prince. Another is that the Germans used submarines called, U-Boats. Lastly, there was an event in which German spies landed in Jacksonville, Florida and in Long Island, New York to sabotage boats to block supplies that were being shipped to the Allied Nations.


Scott is an adventurous and curious person. In the book he is the first character introduced to the stroy. In this story of World War 2 he is a deckhand on the Rapids Prince. Adam also one of the first character introduced to the story. He is a academic person a person who enjoys reading. He again is also part of the crew of the Rapids Prince except that he is a waiter not a deckhand. Vandam is the bad guy of this book along with his henchman Twitch except that twitch wanted a job, typical. So Vandam is a mean, evil spy, part of Germany, The Axis Nations. He was the leader of spies that were from Germany heading to the U.S.

I enjoyed this book just because of what traits take place in the book. What I mean what traits I mean what theme it has. The "traits" of the book is adventure and the surprise element that I really find interesting in any book. I mean the theme of my book is basically my recommendation to the book. So people who find the themes interesting I guarantee you will like the book. Some reasons you'll enjoy the book on my recommendation is that the story takes place in different areas in the U.S. Another is that Adam gets captured by Vandam and held so that he wouldn't " spill the beans" about his plan to anyone. Lastly, The story line is about stopping Vandam from destroying a passage way with a German bomb.
