We are excited to announce that we had 100% participation in our Take the Pledge campaign from our MISD elementary schools! Over 13,000 students participated, including over 700 Spanish-speaking students, from 20 elementary schools and 4 middle schools in McKinney. Schools displayed over 90 Take the Pledge signs at various locations throughout the community. Each school received sponsor-provided giveaways as their prizes for students who chose to participate and take the pledge to be drug free!

We partnered with McKinney Police Department and the US Army National Guard to highlight the importance of choosing to live drug free. The students and staff of Johnson Elementary hosted members of these organizations and toured their vehicles, including SUVs, motorcycles, and HUMVEEs.
