- Part 1 and 2 of your EOC ("About Me" and "Brochure") are due January 6th!
STUDENTS WHOSE SEMESTER ENDS BEFORE January 8th:
- Make sure you complete lessons 6-12 before your last day!!!
- Make sure you submit your EOC Project: Part 1 and 2 before your last day.
- This course must be completed before your semester ends at your school.
- Please keep this in mind. I'll open up the lessons quicker so you can finish in time.

- Note: The last day for NCVPS is January 8th, 2016. Students will have no access to the Arabic course then, but there are some schools that end their semesters earlier. Please be aware of that for your school.

Types of Arabic songs
Arabs mastered singing and developed many types of it such as popular songs, songs of the village & the city, coastal songs, dancing songs, romantic songs, patriotic songs etc..
Traditional Arabic Dance
There are various types of traditional dances such as “al-Samah”, Redha (Arabian Peninsula), Daha (northern Syria and Iraq), and Dabkah (The Levant).
Arabic singers/ Composers
In the theatrical era, outstanding singers and composers emerged such as Rahbani and Fairuz (Lebanon), Umm Kulthum ( Egypt), Sabah Fakhri (Syria), and Nazem al-Ghazali ( Iraq). Western and eastern large orchestras rose in the 2nd half of the 20th century, from Cairo, Tunisia, Morocco, Baghdad, Damascus and Beirut.
