Lumberton Preschool Expansion

Free Preschool for the 2021-2022 School Year

  • The Lumberton Township School District is pleased to announce that for the 2021-2022 school year, we will be further expanding our FREE full-day, high quality preschool program to 3 and 4 year old Lumberton residents.
  • In order to offer FREE preschool to even more families in our community, the Lumberton Township School District will have 56 additional seats available for preschool aged students regardless of income.
  • In addition, we are excited to continue our partnership with the Center For Family Services as a Head Start provider. Families who meet the income eligibility criteria for Head Start, will continue to benefit from the support and services provided from the Center For Family Services. There will be 42 seats total available for students who meet the Head Start criteria.
  • If your child is currently participating in this program and they enrolled with the Lumberton Township School District, they will be able to continue their placement at Head Start while they meet the preschool age requirements. You do NOT need to do anything at this time.
  • ALL Lumberton children participating in one of these programs will have access to a high-quality preschool program that will prepare them to enter Kindergarten.
  • The full-day preschool program hours are 8:40am-3:40pm at one of three planned locations.
