Good Evening Clover Flat Redhawk Students and Families,
This week we needed to adjust our instruction to asynchronous Tuesday and Wednesday due to power outages in parts of the district from the Valley Fire. Some of our staff who live in the mountain communities were impacted by this and we are happy to report that their homes and families are safe. There was a small brushfire near the school on Wednesday evening and it was quickly put out by the local Campo Fire Department! Fire season is certainly a tense time and we are thankful to all the first responders in the community for their heroic efforts.
What does Asynchronous mean? Asynchronous means students are working on assignments posted in their online classes, such as Seesaw or Google Classroom. Our Monday schedules are asynchronous and students are responsible for completing those assignments and turning them in for attendance and for teacher review and grading. If assignments are not turned in, students will be marked absent and it will impact their grades. Please communicate with the teachers if you have questions.
Stay safe, stay healthy, and have a good weekend,
Amy Conforth, Principal
