By: Tiffani Clark
What are living statues?
Living statues are artist that stand on the street and pose like statues. They cover themselves with realistic statue-like makeup and they may spend hours in the same exact spot!
History of living statues
In the medieval and renaissance age you could find living statues at festivals, plays, or when royal people came to town. A group of people would stand on a decorated stage to look like a monument.
