Christmas Tree Ornament
We will decorate our tree with an ornament or symbol that represents you, teaching, or what the season means to you. As you are at the store or still have yours from last year, please hold on to it until further notice. We will share out with one another in an activity.
A parent volunteer will put up the tree sometime this week!
Tool Time Thursday
For our Tool Time this Thursday, teachers will take the time to enter any documentation on ANY student that was discussed (K-2nd) or will be discussed (3rd - 5th) on the 11th. If we have met on your students, you should have followed up with the next steps taht were suggested.
Remember, if you have a student that is a 9-1-1 you can bring him/her to our attention at any time. If you need help getting into the program do not hesitate to contact Tiffany, Erin, or a colleague that has been successful entering their documentation.
Istation Expectations
After discussion, one team member needs to submit your grade level Istation Plan on the Google Docs. Some grade levels have already submitted theirs.

Reading Reminders
As we end our first semester and bring 2017 to a close, your students should be moving along the reading continuum (including improving their comprehension skills). Keep in mind that our middle of the year reading assessments are forthcoming. K-2 will use ELI and SELI and 3-5 will use DRA to assess reading levels.
In an effort to instill a love of reading in our panthers, you have committed to a daily read aloud (intentional read aloud once a week and may last two/three days), sustained reading daily for 30 minutues and having guest readers in your classrooms. It has worked out that some of you have schedule them to come in on Fridays. Please continue with these tights and commitments as we make every panther a READER!
