Space Trash
Space trash can be very dangerous. A small seven centimeter piece of aluminum could be equal to seven and one half kilograms of dynamite. Space trash travels at speeds up to 17,500 mph. There are more than 500,000 pieces of trash orbiting earth right now. There are lots of different sizes of space trash as small as spoons and as big as space shuttles. The space trash is very similar to asteroids. While coming to earth the trash will set on fire then once it's about 40 to 50 feet in the air it goes into a huge ball of flames then it designates. NASA wants to know if it will harm space shuttles. Can it hurt people is another question people ask. NASA says no because before it reaches earth the trash will designate.
