In the victorian era fun and games were things such as Chess,Checkers,and Croquet.In the victorian era fun and games is such as chess,checkers,and darts and such.Chess was the most popular in the victorian era.They also counted dancing as fun and games.They danced to stuff like the salsa dance or other classical dances.Checkers was also very popular too it was just like chess but different rules and different figures such as knights and pawns instead of checkers/pucks.
Dancing
Dancing is considered "fun and games".They considered it as fun or a game because the way they did it was fun to them.Their dancing was completely different from how we dance today.
Chess
Chess is a very popular game in the victorian era.It was entertaining to play as people today would find it boring.People played this if they didn't go to school or have a job to do.It is a lot like chess.They both have the same board setup and they both have a bunch of pieces.Chess is a strategy game it requires strategic abilities are needed to get the other team . Chess contains a team of a pawns,knights,king,queen,bishops,rooks.
Darts
Darts was a game stated by soldiers throwing arrows at old wine barrels. But it started in the Middle Ages. Whoever got the center of the wine barrels won the game! The game started to evolve to a circle you through it at. In the center was A tiny circle called the Bullseye! Whoever got the center won the game of darts!
Theatre
The oldest theaters in the era presented shows like rope dancing , Shakespeare, and more. Now we watch cinemas.
