Carter-Riverside HS Recognition
TABC released their All Region selections. There are 51 teams in our Region (Region 1) and 20 total players were picked out of our region. Dally Coulter was picked as one of the 20 for Region 1 4A. This is a tremendous accomplishment. There are some great teams and players in our Region and to be recognized as one of the top 20 is an outstanding compliment.

A special note from Arlington Heights Head Volleyball Coach, Shannon LIsenbe
For me as Head Volleyball coach here at Heights, this was one of the most gratifying wins the girls and I have experienced! I came to AHHS when these seniors were freshman and have coached them for their 4 years in high school. I have seen them grow into amazing young ladies, students, and athletes.
We started working June 15th, 2020 ...Yes in the hot Texas summer sun all the while wearing masks outside and trying to get through these covid times and still put together a great season....Which We Did! Winning Bi-District and making it to the Area playoff game was one of the goals we were working towards. We had hoped to get to the 3rd round but fell a bit short at area. Though we had some amazing seniors that I will cherish all my life! We do have a very young group of varsity girls that will be returning and look to keep the tradition alive that this group of seniors started. The senior girls are moving on to their volleyball and other college futures but will always be a HUGE part of the AHHS Volleyball Program forever! What a GREAT season!
FWISD hosts UIL State Semi-Final Game at Wilkerson-Greines
Tonight's 4A State Semi-Final game between Argyle vs. Oak Cliff Faith Family did not disappoint. With the score 39-36 w/under a minute left in the game. Faith Family stole the ball and had an opportunity to tie the game, but took an ill-advised 3pt. shot, which gave momentum back to Argyle. Argyle was able to hold off their charge and win the game (43-39).
