In the library, we have been talking about different book programs and resources we can use to connect to GREAT BOOKS in a variety of ways and connect to reading in the classroom, in the LRC, and outside of school!

Kinder-Kids

- Logging in and out of Chromebooks and web applications independently
- Navigating the school website
- Accessing and using Bookmarks
- Creating "Missing Posters" in Wixie to help in the hunt for our missing Gingerbread Man
- Creating Holiday Cards in Wixie

- Color recognition and using color words
- Literacy skills (using pictures/stickers and words to share information)
- Creating for a purpose (to find the Gingebread Man & to spread holiday cheer!)
Friends of First Grade

- Using photos, stickers, and drawing to "Elf Ourselves" in Wixie
