The Iranian Hostage was 52 Americans held hostage for 444 days, after a group of Iranian students supported the Iranian revolution and took over the US embassy in Tehran.
Summary
In November 4th, 1979 to January 20th, 1981 52 Americans were held Hostage. The United States was given support, to Mohammad Phlavi, so the Iranians weren't happy with it. Islamist students held 52 Americans Hostage at the American Embassy due to this. Many people were held hostage, but women and African Americans were only there for a short period of time, others stayed because of many illnesses.
President Jimmy Carter wanted to release hostages immediately . Jimmy Carter cancelled all oil companies in Iran, then kicked many Iranians out from the United States. Iranian government didn't care about what was going on, the carter administration couldn't do anything but wait...
