Field Day Information:
All learners will be doing different activities outside from about 8:00-12:00. Please apply sunscreen at home.
During field day, learners will be on different surfaces (grass and cement), so sneakers are a must.
During several of the activities, your child will become VERY wet, so please have them bring a complete change of clothing.
During field day, all learners must wear shorts, and a “top.” “Tops” can be a tankini top, tank top, swim shirt, and/or t-shirt. (No bikini tops)
There will be a school wide snack break during the morning provided by PTO.
Since we have we have several fun stations located in the Cafe Parking Lot. This area will not be accessible for parking on Monday, May 20th until after 12:00. So, please plan to walk or bike to school that morning.

Technology Use Survey Reminder
Subject: Deadline Approaching: Technology Use Survey and Parent Survey
Hello Parents and Guardians,
I recently sent an email about how Coppell ISD is asking for your input through a Technology & Learning Questionnaire to learn more about our students’ school and home technology use for learning. Your participation is essential in helping us form a more complete picture of technology use for learning in our students’ lives. Please know that all of your responses will remain anonymous to protect your privacy. This is a national survey that allows us to compare data sets at the regional, state and national levels. Surveys are conducted each year in the fall and spring. Please follow this link to our specific Clarity campus survey: www.BByt.es/R777P
This survey will take you approximately 7 to 9 minutes to complete.
The surveys will close May 17.
(Note: If you also have children at other campuses, that means you will need to complete multiple surveys. You will receive an email from those principals with their campus specific questionnaire link.)
Thank you those who already have completed the survey.
Boundary Realignment
This link will take you to the 2019 Boundary Realignment page including the new CISD attendance zones and feeder patterns. Please be sure you are aware of your child's campus designation for next year.
PTO
The PTO Green Team will be collecting leftover school supplies starting April 23rd through the end of school year. Reduce*Reuse*Recycle Longhorn Recycling Receptacles (decorated boxes) will be placed at end of each hall. If your child has leftover school supplies and they don't need them the Green Team will get them recycled by sharing them with a school in need.
Thank you, PTO Green Team
ALL VOLUNTEERS and CLASS CHAPERONES MUST COMPLETE A NEW BACKGROUND CHECK EVERY YEAR! Here is a link to the Background Check.
- Background checks are mandatory when attending a field trip, volunteering in the school and at events like field day.
- We love our volunteers and are grateful for your support!
