Favorite Quote

p. 61 "Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay." To me, this quote shows how loyal Ivy is to Tristan even if everybody thinks he is a "murderer". Ivy knows Tristan, she knows that Luke is really him and she just wants to be with him and not have to worry about anything else.

The Conflict is Man vs. Supernatural and Conflict Quote

Throughout this brilliant novel, Ivy finds herself fighting for Tristan and Beth. She wants Beth to have control over herself again and not be afraid, but in order to achieve that she needs to defeat Gregory. Gregory is fighting Ivy back relentlessly and trying to gain vengeance. Both Ivy and Gregory do in fact have on thing in common, however. Both are fighting for a Beth they want, and both are fighting for one fallen angel.

p. 2 "To create dread - to slowly torture Ivy's mind and soul - would be nearly as much fun as killing her."
