MMS Athletic Information
- Athletic Eligibility - Mr. Bender runs failing grade reports every Friday morning. Students who are failing one or more class will be notified (1st time warning week, 2nd+ time ineligible to participate the following week).
- Future Opportunities to Play: January begins our (7-8th girls) basketball and (6th-8th co-ed) wrestling season. Sign-Ups will be in the office after Christmas Break.
- All athletes must have a sports physical on file with the Athletic Department dated no later than April 15th, 2022 in order to participate. You can go through your primary care doctor or contact the Adolescent Wellness Center located at the Junior High School in Cadillac (231.306.4900).
- Looking for Ranger gear?! Check out this store (also benefits the HS boys' basketball program). Store is open until November 23rd!
Stuff you should know
- Our Math Interventionist, Ms. Olson, offers math tutoring for 5th-8th graders after school upon request. There is no charge for this! Please contact her at tolson@mantonschools.org if interested or through her Remind App (simply send a text to: 81010, text this message: @3hd346 to join)
- As a reminder, the MS has implemented a "no cell phones" policy this year. If a student's cell phone is at school, it needs to remain in their locker at all times (upon request, staff will give permission for students to bring their cell to the office to contact parents if that is the preferred method).
