EOG Boot Camp - Saturday, May 21st

PLEASE pump up boot camp with your students! I'm asking that each grade level target specific students for a personal invitation to encourage them to come (more info this week). We have 12 teachers that will be working hard to plan solid review lessons. Students will receive free breakfast from Chick Fil A (yum!) and 2 10 point extra credit tickets. Transportation is being provided to specific hubs in the Kannapolis area. We are hoping by using the old CMS building that many students will also walk. And we are so thankful for Cabarrus Health Alliance in sponsoring us financially on this opportunity. Thank you!

Also, any forms returned, please put in Ms. Brewer's box as you get them.

GLEE!!!!!

Congratulations to our GLEE graduates: Kristen Truong, Tracy Dinkmeyer, and Benita Long! The GLEE endorsement is a local endorsement for your license that requires the taking of a few courses locally about strategies for gifted students. According to our district, you should highly consider getting your GLEE endorsement if you want to work with gifted students regularly.

Various Announcements

Please remember to submit any names of volunteers for our volunteer luncheon to Ms. Alicia Watson. Also, student award names are due to Ms. McCraw by May 13th. CMS will have a CCS conducted safety audit sometime in May. This is when a team of officials will come to our school and evaluate our knowledge and proactivity with school safety. Please also remember that no absences will be approved for state testing days unless there is an extreme and unexpected emergency. And remember the deal for getting proctors for tests - there are jeans passes involved! Ask Ms. Davis or Ms. Wagner if you need more info.
