FMS Counseling: Mrs. Crawford & Mrs. Horstmeier
Red Ribbon Week
Red Ribbon Week will be from October 23rd through October 26th. Look at the picture below to see our theme days. Next week we will be doing a lesson that pertains to drug awareness. The students will play a Jeopardy game with drug use and effects facts with a goal to educate them on proper decision-making skills, problem-solving skills, and handling peer pressure skills. The lesson may lead to conversations with students that may feel too personal. Any student is encouraged to visit with their school counselor about this topic as well. Thanks FMS for being responsible and staying drug free.
Speaker Jim Marshall for Red Ribbon Week
On Wednesday, October 25th Jim Marshall of cody's gifts will speak to our student body. He will present to our 7th and 8th grade students at 9:00 a.m. and to our 6th graders at 10:15. All parents are encouraged and welcomed to attend these presentations as well.
We do Hugs, Not Drugs
We will be holding a drive for small to medium gently used or new stuffed animals for the Callaway Ambulance Department. This is also a House Competition for points.
