Gifted and Talented
Mrs. Casey Griffith
What's the BIG Idea
*Students with learning disabilities can also be considered GT.
*Students that aren't gifted do not see GT students as leaders.
*I always assumed that GT students were more mature develop faster socially. After reading this article, I know they are on the same level as other students.
Burning Questions
When you are defining a student as GT, do they have to excel in ALL areas ( intellectual, creative, artistic, or leadership capacity, or in specific academic fields)?
What can I do to provide to my students the best possible outcomes?
Lights, Camera, Action
One action I will take in the classroom...
stop having my potential/GT students be leaders of groups.
