Welcome to the 2021-2022 School Year
As we enter the last days of summer, I know that I speak for our faculty and staff when in saying that we are excited to welcome students back to Clinton Middle School. Each week, we will provide families with our electronic newsletter, Paw Prints. This will be emailed to our community every Friday and will include important news and information our school. We will also post the newsletter on our social media platform to help you stay informed about what's happening on out campus! Be sure to share this newsletter with your friends and neighbors. Bridge Day
On Tuesday, August 3, we hosted a welcoming event called Bridge Day for our incoming 6th graders. Approximately 175 students joined us for a day of fun and learning. Student had the opportunity to meet teachers, learn about classes, take a tour, and ask questions about the place they will call their home-away-from-home for the next 3 years. We look forward to providing an excellent educational experience to our new Wildcats!
First Day of School Details
We are excited about seeing all of our students on the first day of school on Tuesday, August 17! The school opens for students at 7:30am and classes begin promptly at 8:00am. It is extremely important students arrive on time and well rested everyday!
Student Schedules
Families may pick up class schedules on Thursday, August 12 during Registration Day anytime between 9:00am and 4:00pm. The school will be open for students to gain familiarity with their classroom locations and our building.
Transportation
If your child is planning to ride a bus this year and is new to our district, new to riding the bus, or has had a change of address, please contact our transportation department at (864) 833-0823. If your child has taken the bus in the past and there are no changes, there is nothing more that you need to do.
School Supply List
- Two three-ringed binders (one for ELA/Math; one for Science/SS)
- Pencils, pens
- Paper
- Graphing paper for Math classes
- Four composition notebooks
Student Athlete Parents Night
All parents/guardians of all fall student athletes (volleyball, football, cheer) need to attend a Student Athlete Parents Night on Thursday, August 19 at 6:00pm in the Big Gym. We will review the academic and behavioral guidelines that must be met in order for athletes to be eligible to participate in their sports.
