Who were the people associated with the change?
Leonardo Da Vinci (1452-1519)
Leonardo Da Vinci was an inventor, painter and a sculptor. 17 of his paintings are still around today. For example, "The Mona Lisa" and "The Last Supper" are in museums around the world. Leonardo Da VInci's works portrayed every aspect or renaissance art. He showed details in the things he created, whether it was a painting or sculptor.
Michaelangelo's Statue of David
Michaelangelo was a famous renaissance styled artist also. He has a variety of different styles he's done with his work. Many of his works included nudity. He created mostly large statues made of marble. For example, "The Pieta" and "The Statue of David". In addition to sculpting, he also was a painter. One of his most famous paintings is "The Sistine Chapel".

How did the change impact society at the time?
Tons of people began to die of "Black Death". The severe decline in population size immediately effected labor. Labor workers had become rare to find, which caused the demand of wages to increase.
How is the change evident in today's modern society?
The Renaissance and its changes to the modern world developed a new way of thinking called Humanism. As well as gave a broad prospective to what art really is, or at least what it should be. Renaissance ideas made education and learning so much more different then what it was in the being, when people could just barely speak let alone read and write.
