Reflections from 11-28-16
As the end of a semester draws near, I reflect on the huge gains that we have made as an AMCHS family and think about the areas that we need to enhance. There were several challenges we faced as an AMCHS family, but we overcame these challenges by doing more than what was expected, taking risks, being willing to learn and incorporate new methodologies, and remaining passionate about what we do--teaching. While you prepare for the Christmas break, take time to reflect, renew, and restore your hearts and minds to prepare for the spring semester. It takes ALL of us to make AMCHS one of the top high schools in the state, and we are so blessed for the part you play in the success of our students.
Over the next few days, Tiger admin will continue to visit classrooms and assess what students are learning, how the lessons are structured to meet the needs of diverse learners, and student engagement. Our goal is to serve as a resource for you so that we can improve the academic success of our students.
Thank you for being part of an environment that strives to make a difference. We will continue to foster an environment conducive for learning for all.
Shine bright!
