Raider Nation Staff Newsletter
Week of February 4, 2019
Hello Raider Nation --
We had a week heavily impacted by weather last week. Thank you all for you flexibility as the school system navigated closing, delayed openings, and early dismissals. We had it all! Hopefully, the remainder of our winter season will be less eventful. Report cards will now be issued on Thursday, February 7 instead of Wednesday, February 6.
As we enter the month of February, the Howard County Board of Education has issued a proclamation recognizing African-American History Month. I know that students in the Black Student Union (BSU) along with their staff sponsors have been working hard to prepare for the school-wide assembly later this month.
Tomorrow are department meetings and part two of our journey toward shared values. Members of our PLC have worked very hard on this activity and will be leading the activity in your meetings.
Tuesday is county-wide professional learning day. Please consult your ITL for the location of your content area meeting.
See you tomorrow and enjoy the Super Bowl!
Robert
