Like you, Bonnie Austin has a passion for student learning. Her passion is not just for students to learn, but for students to know the material in such a way that they can apply their learning to new situations and real life! With 30+ years of experience as a teacher, administrator, and instructional coach, she has seen many educational trends come and go. But, she has never been more excited about learning as it relates to brain research and mindset. Bonnie is excited to share what she has learned about effective mathematics instruction. Join her in the exciting struggle of teaching and learning!

Amy Herter, DCHS Instructional Coach, USD 443
Amy Herter is passionate about teaching and learning. She has been an educator for 23 years. She has taught at all levels, has been an administrator, and is currently an instructional coach at Dodge City High School. She believes that building relationships with students is the key to helping them reach their fullest potential, especially the reluctant learners. She will provide teachers with action steps they can do with their students to build those critical relationships. Motivating the reluctant learner is a concern many teachers have today. Amy will spend time sharing myths and realities of what really motivates students. Join Amy on the journey to build better relationships with students, learn what really motivates students, and learn how this can lower your stress level.
