Class Happenings - Questions to Ask Your Student
Math - Students are beginning their unit on Exponents.
Acc. Math - Students are beginning their unit on Exponential Functions.
Science: Science is beginning our new unit on Physics. This unit will be focused on Forces and Motion, Types of Forces, Gravity, and Energy. Students' large-scale goal will be to design, build, and explain a physics-based game and interpret data through various physics labs. Ask your student, What is an example of an everyday activity involving more than one force?
English Language Arts: We are nearing the end of our multimedia source-based investigation of the Holocaust. Students should have checkpoints 2 and 3 completed. These are priorities for the final product. Ask your student: What are you planning to design or create as a memorial of an individual, group, or event?
History: We started learning about industrialization and the rise of factories in the north. Ask your student to describe the cities of the north. What were the positives and negatives of living in the city?
Opportunity for students to join a group going to run/walk the BoulderBoulder!
