Special Messages

7th Grade Field Trip Info - Find out all the details about your 7th grader's field trip to the Dallas Zoo in May! Some deadlines are coming up!

FCA Weekend of Champions Camp - February 24-26th (Registration deadline February 10th) at Lake View Camp in Waxahachie. Register at

FISD Dual Credit Parent Information Meeting - March 2nd at the Collin College Preston Ridge Campus. Read more about it here.

8th Grade Field Trip - Payment is due by March 3rd through your student's MyPaymentsPlus account. If you wish to be a chaperone, please select that option when you pay for your student. A chaperone fee will then be added to your student's account and you may pay it online as well. If you have questions about payment please contact Brenda Biller at

6th Grade Parents: Your students will be talking with the counselors this week about registering for next year’s classes. Attached to the registration form will be a letter informing you if your student has completed documentation of the immunizations needed for attendance in the 7th grade. If your letter states your student is not complete, please send the latest shot record (not the record from their elementary school) you have so we can update our records. If the letter says your student is complete, you do not need to do anything. If there is not a letter attached to the class registration form, please ask your student where the letter is – every 6th grader has a letter. Right now, we are at 35% complete, and we would love to get that percentages as high as possible before the end of the school year. Records can be dropped off in my office, faxed to (469) 633-4318, or emailed to I think you in advance for your help in achieving this goal.

Join the Club - One of the best parts of middle school is getting involved with a group of your peers to do something you enjoy outside the classroom. Cobb has a diverse list of clubs and organizations to fit every student's interests, so encourage your child to try one out!
