Week of November 28, 2016
A peek and our week:
Welcome back to school! We have the heat going, so please dress your child in layers, or stick a t-shirt in the back pack, our room is on the main floor and tends to be one of the warmest! We will continue to try to get outside as much as possible, so hats and MITTENS are super important. Remember, the kiddos are working hard and becoming so independent...mittens make for happy hands!
Now onto our week, we will be talking about the letter I so please send something that starts with the /i/ sound on Thursday. We will continue to count and pattern, please practice these at home! We will also be learning the nursery rhymes Rub a Dub Dub, There was an old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe, and Old Mother Hubbard.
A look ahead:
Our Christmas program is with the elementary on Monday, December 5, at 7 p.m. This is great night to see all the children dressed up and ready to sing! The preschoolers come to the classroom at 6:45. We go directly to the stage, then they are dismissed to sit with their families as they enjoy the rest of the program. The program is very short, about 45 mins.
