End of Year Events
Things to look forward to!
Just a few things...
We are down to our last days together - can you believe it?! I feel like this year has gone by so fast and I am so sad to see these kiddos move on, but they have grown to be awesome 3rd graders ready for 4th grade!
Below, you'll find some important events coming up these last few days of school. As always, let me know if you have any questions, comments or concerns!
END OF YEAR SURVEY
PLEASE take the time to fill out my Google Forms survey about this past year. It is extremely helpful to know your thoughts so I can better improve as an educator! I greatly appreciate you taking the time to fill it out :)

Tenmarks Summer Math
I'm not entirely sure how this works, but it is a free math program that typically has a summer program.
If you are interested in getting an account for your student, email me and I will send you a flyer for login information.
Frederick Co Public Library Programs
I love the library challenges they have every summer! It's great to encourage your kids to continue being avid readers even in the summer! Nothing like getting lost in a good book :)
Camp NewsELA
This website is awesome because it has current events and questions that go along with it. The reading levels vary and the articles are super high interest! The link below takes you to the information page and tells you how to sign up :)

Prodigy Math Game
All the kids love this game so might as well throw it in the mix! It's adaptive practice meaning that it keeps up to your students level, but tries to keep them on grade level. Great fun math practice for the summer! Their logins can be found in the front of their agenda books!
FrontRow
Another great website for adaptive math and ELA practice. I love the simplicity and it is chunked really nicely so they get a little practice here and there and it's easy to find a stopping point. Their logins can be found in the front of their agenda books!
XtraMath or Practice Facts
This is a MUST - if the only math you do this summer is practice facts, call that a success! Keeping up with math facts will give your students the most success next year. Use flashcards or get on XtraMath to practice those facts!
Reading Rockets: Summer Themed Books & Activities
Although I have never seen this before, it looks awesome! Pick a topic and find books and resources to go along with each :) I love the idea of integrating reading with fun summer activities!
Blogging to Practice Writing!
Edublogs is an awesome, safe student blog for students to practice writing. What better way to stay in tip-top writing shape than keeping an online blog of all your awesome adventures!!
