Superintendent's Message
Loveland Tiger Families,
I hope you had a great Hearts Afire weekend in Loveland! This is a special time of year in the Land of Love, with a ton of events going on around town in preparation for Valentine’s Day. My wife Sue and I spent time in downtown Loveland this weekend and checked out the Showchoir Showfest at Loveland High School too.
The Little Miami River Chamber Alliance Valentine’s Day Breakfast Friday morning was a special treat. Many of our Loveland students entered the Valentine’s Day Poetry Contest and had the opportunity to read their winning poems during the event. Congratulations to the winners:
Mikey Furey, Kindergarten
Vibha Nataraj, 2nd grade
Roman Lyke, 2nd grade
Landon Gummow, 4th grade
Amalie Lyke, 4th grade
Behruz Usmanov, 6th grade
Audrey Gibson, 6th grade
Lily McDonald, 10th grade
Many of our teachers also attended the breakfast to support their award-winning students, and it was great to have an opportunity to recognize them for their hard work. Congratulations also to the newest Loveland Valentine Lady, Donna Barnes. She has been spending time in classrooms around the district, reading stories to kids. You can learn more about the Valentine Ladies by following this link.
You can always reach me at: broadwmi@lovelandschools.org.
I hope you have a great week! Go Tigers!

Transportation Help?
There is a PARENT LED initiative to use a ride-share app to help families get their high school students to school. If you are interested in participating, please fill out the following form: https://forms.gle/4YWBUb8NTfm2toAU9. The organizers need to group areas of the district together for the app as well as gauge the interest of both riders and drivers. This is not a Loveland City Schools initiative, but we want to connect families with this potential resource.
