Augmented Reality in the Classroom
Using Aurasma and Quiver- TIES Poster Session
Come and help us practice for our TIES poster session.
Imagine living in the magical world of Harry Potter where the school hallways are lined with paintings that are alive and interactive! Now imagine creating an atmosphere like that for your students. Augmented reality (AR) allows educators and students to do just that: unlock or create layers of digital information on top of the physical world that can be viewed through an Android or iOS device. We will show how we have used Aurasma and other AR apps in my 1st grade classroom as well as other uses across all grade levels.
Event Information
Augmented Reality in the Classroom- TIES Conference practice session
Renee Fedderson and Miriam Tobola will be presenting an Augmented Reality session at the Technology in Education Conference in Minneapolis. This is an opportunity for you to come and see for yourself how Aurasma and Quiver are being used in the classroom. It will also give us an opportunity to practice our session with real teachers. This is a poster session, so you come and go as you are able. It would be helpful to bring your own cell phone with Aurasma and/ or Quiver app already downloaded. Thanks for helping us prepare.
