Traffic Reminders
-PULL UP ALL THE WAY! Gaps in line make our line move slower, so please pull up as far as possible. If someone waves you forward, please obey the request as its just to keep the line moving.
-NO PARKING ALONG 171st or RACHEL SNOWDEN. The lines cannot move quickly in either direction if a car is parked on these two streets. Students should not be instructed to walk up and hop in a vehicle that is in line. Please use the loop appropriately.
-NO PASSING THE IDLE CAR LANE DOWN 171st. When driving North on 171st street, please do not pass the line of cars waiting to go into Stratford Elementary. When doing this, you are going into oncoming traffic of those driving South on 171st street towards Rachel Snowden. This is extremely dangerous. Please wait in line and continue straight when the line allows or the safety patrol gives you the right away.
As a final reminder, remember, your kids are in the car. Please be patient, kind, and respectful to one another and our staff as you wait patiently for our line to move along. The extra time in the car may be a great opportunity to talk about the day or practice those spelling words!
Thank you!

Kindergarten Registration Is Open!
Do you have a student ready to start Kindergarten in August 2023? Stratford Elementary is currently accepting registrations for any incoming Kindergarten students. If your child will be eligible for Kindergarten (age 5 by July 31, 2023) please visit our district website www.benningtonschools.org, scroll down and click on "Enroll New Student" to register for the upcoming school year, and be sure to select the 2023-2024 school year. You will still need to do this if your child is enrolled at Anchor Pointe in the preschool.
Determining the enrollment for the next year is important for future staff planning. Completing registration also ensures that you receive communication regarding kindergarten. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
Kindergarten Roundup for students will take place at the conclusion of summer prior to the start of the school year. More information will be sent on this at a later date. If you have any questions regarding enrollment, please call Mrs. Witt in our school office.
