Cheerleading
State Champions!!!! The team won the NYSPHSAA title for the CoEd Division. They had to perform their routine first in the preliminary round. Their performance was outstanding. The team received their highest score of the season and was ranked 1st going into the final. In the Finals they again performed a flawless routine earning them the State Title.
Boys Swimming
Congratulations to all the Webster Swimmers who competed in the State Swim Meet this past weekend!
Webster 200 free relay team made up of Titans- Griffin Witte, Adam Sokolowski, Matt Delgreco and Warrior Michael Damelio finished 2nd in the NYSPHSAA . This same group finished 7th in the State for the 400 free relay and set a new Webster Boys swim record with a time of 3:13.88. Adam Sokolowski finished 8th in the State in the Breaking his personal record with a 59:30. Matt Delgreco also competed in the 100 fly and Griffin Witte competed in the 100. backstroke
Indoor Track
Phenomenal results from the NYSPHSAA Track and Field meet this past weekend.
Monique Hardy- Is once again, State Champ in the Weight Throw and this year She earned the State Title in the Shot Put. Double State Champion!!!
Sophomore,Sean Smith, Came in Second in the Weight Throw. He was within an inch of the State Title.

Hockey
After winning the Sectionals last week. The Hockey team competed in the State quarter final regional game vs Northwood- Norfolk. The game took place Saturday night up in Northern NY. The team won the Regional 4-1 with goals by Zack Wolfe with 2, Cade Spencer and Kevin Gabalski each had 1. They move on to play Skaneateles in the State Semi Finals, Saturday at the Harbor Center in Buffalo. The game starts at 11:45am.

Bowling
The Girls Bowling Team Won the Class A Sectional Championship at Gates Bowl Wednesday. The team comprised of Cassidy Potter, Mikah McDonnell, Cassidy Ans, Caitlyn Ans, and Alyssa Duc. The girls won the final match and edge Hilton out by 11 pins to take the title.
Boys Basketball
Andrew Mason was named Co-Player of the Year for Monroe County Division 2.
Girls Basketball
Taylor Lockwood has been named to the Ronald McDonald All Star team. She will play March 23rd in a game to be held at Rush Henrietta. Congratulations Taylor!1
Wrestling
CJ Lee Wrestled in the the State Wrestling Tournament which will was held in Albany NY February 22nd and 23rd. He went 1-2 at the States Losing his third match 4-3 in the final seconds. What an outstanding Wrestling career for CJ!
Also in wrestling news…. Coach Cook was named Monroe County Coach of the year in Wrestling this season. Well deserved honor for Coach Cook!!

Boys State is a summer leadership program held at colleges throughout the United States. The program is sponsored by the American Legion for boys between their junior and senior years of high school. Students must be academically strong, civic minded, and possess the qualities of a leader. The Webster Legion has selected the following Webster Thomas students as this year’s delegates:

This is one of the largest, if not the largest, groups of Thomas boys selected by the Legion.

Drive 4UR School Benefits Marching Band
Planning to attend Community Arts Day? Why not stop by the Drive 4UR School event also being held on the Webster Schroeder High School campus on Saturday, April 6, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. NEW THIS YEAR, if you pre-register to test drive a new Ford, you can have Breakfast with the Band from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. before the test drive event opens up to the public. Share some breakfast treats, win a prize or two, and drive for the Band! Registration is limited and required, so please email Krista_Grose@webstercsd.org if you plan to have Breakfast with the Band. ALL Drive 4UR School participants must be licensed drivers age 18 years and older will have the opportunity to test drive Ford vehicles and support the Webster Marching Band (one driver per household) !
Drive 4UR School is a community support program developed by Ford, Inc., and sponsored by Henderson Ford. The event is free to participants, and for every test drive Ford will donate $20 to the Webster Marching Band Boosters, Inc and Webster CSD’s Class of 2019.
So stop by, give a new Ford a test drive, and help out our musical marchers at the same time!

Save the date! Please join us for Community Arts Day on Saturday April 6th from 10AM -4 PM at Webster Schroeder High School! An event for all ages, showcasing student artwork, musical performances, community groups, arts and crafts vendors, kids craft stations, the YMCA carnival, Webster’s Got Talent Show, breakfast, lunch, snacks and sweet treats!
Volunteer opportunities will be available soon!
All of the funds raised from this event go back to Webster’s 11 schools for arts education.

Juniors - SAT information for Saturday, March 9th - If you are taking the SAT on Saturday, March 10th, please arrive to Thomas by 7:30. Staff will be on hand to direct you. Spring College Visits - UB, Clarkson and Rutgers are visiting Thomas. Sign up to meet with college representatives in your naviance account. If you are unsure or cannot access your account, please stop down to the Counseling Center. https://student.naviance.com/wths
Sophomores - The PreACT is a practice ACT exam that we offer sophomores in the spring. The exam is held here at Thomas on Saturday, March 16th from 7:30-11:30. The cost is $13.00 by check payable to WTHS. Registration forms are available in the Counseling Center and are due back by Tuesday, March 12, 2019.
Juniors - awards are available for the following colleges: Clarkson, Dartmouth, Elmira, Furman, Keuka, RIT, St. Lawrence, U of R, Wells and the University of Albany. If you would like to self-nominate for any of these awards, please stop down to the Counseling Center and pick up an application. Applications are due back to the Counseling Center no later than Thursday, March 15th.
Seniors - The Common Application for Senior Awards is available in the Counseling Center. These awards are given out at the Senior Award Night in June. All applications are due in the Counseling Center no later than 2:30 on Friday, March 29, 2019.

Juniors - University of Rochester Laboratory for Laser Energetics summer program

Sophomores & Juniors - The ASVAB exam is a multi aptitude exam for high school students that helps align your skills with your interests. This exam may help you explore future career goals regardless of your plans after high school. This free exam will be held at Thomas on March 30, 2019
Sophomore & Juniors - University of Rochester Hajim School of Engineering & Applied Sciences - Photon Camp - Photon Camp is a FREE one week program where you may explore the growing field of optics and optical engineering.
