Apple ID information
Most of you took a picture of the colored bookmark we handed you when you first received your iPad this year. One of the important pieces of information you will find on your bookmark is your Apple ID username and password.
*Student Apple IDS use your school email address, here is an example: Berna989@apps.district279.org
*If you were a student in the Osseo School District, passwords start with school you attended last year "Bjh" or "Wvr" with student ID number and ending with exclamation point, Here is an example: Bjh63899999! or Wvr63899999!
*If you are new to our school district, passwords start with your your current school "Bms" with student ID number and ending with exclamation point! Here is an example: Bms63899999!
Please text/email the picture of your bookmark from your iPad to another device or email that you own. This way you have another way to access this information if you forget it. It’s important to know this password when registering on self-service or if your iPad is missing.
If you are having issues with your Apple ID, please check with us down in the media center.
How to Report a Problem with your iPad
If you have a problem with you iPad, you can stop in before school, otherwise you will need a pass from your teacher to come to the media center. Some common problems that we can assist you with include:
- Problems with the Self-Service Center
- Apps that won’t download
- Problems with charging & chargers
When you arrive, you must sign in at a laptop just outside the Media Center Office. Please sign in every time you come in with an iPad issue, even if it is just to pick it up.
If you need to leave your iPad with us to work on, you will need to fill out the green iPad repair ticket next to the computer to the best of your knowledge.

*IMPORTANT INFORMATION*
Below is a link to the Student iPad Agreement Form that you will be reviewing in class with your teacher. It is a signed document that reviews district expectations and responsibilities you have as a student using the iPads.
This form MUST be read and filled out completely by October 23, 2015. Failure to read and sign this document may result in iPad restrictions.
Reminder: iPads are School Property
When the school handed you your iPad and said “here is your iPad” – what they really meant was “we are lending you an iPad to use at home and at school, but it still belongs to us.” Please make sure that you are using your iPad for school approved, educational activities. If you have unapproved apps or inappropriate content on your iPad, we can collect your iPad and an assortment of consequences will be assigned. We expect that iPads are at school every day and you must surrender this property to us at a staff member’s request.
