We Believe
Our vision is to prepare students to be self-directed learners who are literate, creative, curious, civic-minded citizens who demonstrate civility, order, respect and excellence in school and in life.
Our mission is to ensure the intellectual and emotional growth of every student while promoting civility, order, respect, and excellence. We recognize that each student can and must succeed in an environment enriched with support, encouragement, and accountability.
Puma Community,
As we head into the final quarter of the school year, we want to thank our
students, families, and staff for striving for excellence every day! Please find some important information below.
ISTEP+ Testing Window
The next ISTEP+ Testing Window opens again this Monday, April 16th and will continue through Friday, May 4th. You have the opportunity to learn more about ISTEP+ and even experience questions similar to those your child will be expected to answer by visiting this link. When our students completed their first round of ISTEP+, they seemed confident and encouraged about their experience with the test. We are very proud of all of our students for continuing to think about each day with a growth mindset and we know they will continue to do so as they test on Monday.
Attendance
Awareness that excellent attendance is vital to student success has never been greater. As of today, over 35 states will include attendance in their new state education accountability systems for the Every Student Succeeds Act. With one out of seven students in the United States chronically absent, we need our students and parents to practice the CORE Principle of Attendance: Come On time Ready Every day! So, when you schedule appointments during the next three weeks, please make sure to avoid these dates as the ISTEP+ is a mandatory and critical assessment that students must participate in. Perfect attendance during this assessment is critical to your child's success! Thank you in advance for being mindful of this schedule and your child's attendance at Raymond Park Intermediate Academy.
District Community Dialogue
The district would like to extend an invitation to all township residents for one final District Community Dialogue. This dialogue will be a great opportunity for residents to hear about and provide input regarding the future of Warren Township Schools. The final dialogue will be held at Stonybrook on April 24th from 6:30PM - 7:30PM.
Thanks again for your continued support.
