Hi TLA Families,

What a way to end a week! Celebrating scholars, not only for their outstanding work in our three pillars: Rigorous Academics via the Honor Roll, Character Development via outstanding Character awards, and Career Exploration via Career awards, but also their hard work and perseverance through our high stakes state testing. Scholars have accepted the challenge and stepped it up in quarter 3. Take a look at how many more scholars are being recognized this week.

Thank you parents for your support of scholars during this window. Attendance in high school was phenomenal this week. With your partnership all things are possible!

It has been brought to our attention that our parents are parking in the Associated Bank parking lot again during scholar pickup. The lot is for customers who are there to patron the bank in the moment only. Please discontinue parking in the lot, they have very limited space. We appreciate the cooperation and look forward to jumping back in after Spring Break.

We wanted to give you some updates and share some quick reminders with all of you:

• No school from Friday, April 7th - Sunday, April 16th for Spring Break
• UW-Madison Nursing Field Trip-Thursday, April 13th 7:45 am drop off at CareerTek
• Roy Chapman Acceptance Lecture Field Trip-Friday, April 14th 4:30 pm drop off at Beloit Public Library
• Spring Reading ROARathon - scholars were sent home with a reading log to use during Spring Break. They have the opportunity to take responsibility for their learning and continue to hone their reading fluency and comprehension skills. For every 5 books or 5 chapters they will receive one ROAR. Make sure when completing the reading log, they indicate how many chapters. Parents make sure to sign the log.

Quarter 4 clubs started this week. You can still sign-up the week after Spring Break. Scholars should report to the club room the day it is scheduled. Scholars must be eligible to participate and bring the $10 fee for the quarter. Scholars are ineligible to participate in a club if they fall into any of the categories below for the previous quarter:

• Two or more F’s or a GPA less than 2.0

• Two or more Unexcused absences

• Two or more school suspensions
