An idiom is a combination of words that has a figurative language owing to its common usage. An idiom's figurative meaning is separate from the literal meaning. There are thousands of idioms and they occur frequently in all languages. There are estimated to be at least twenty-five thousand idiomatic expressions in the English Language.

December Writing
The Perfect Snowman
This month we focused on informative writing. Each student was required to write two paragraphs describing how to build the perfect snowman. The first paragraph was about how to actually build the snowman. The second paragraph focused on how to decorate their snowman. The kids did a wonderful job!
