Message from the Principal
We are actively working on how we can safely increase the number of students in person. Stay tuned for updates on our next steps towards hybrid and other learning opportunities. We miss seeing your children and are excited to have them back.
Did you know, that 95% of Washington State is in remote learning? Yelm Community Schools currently provides small groups, in-person opportunities for:
- Special Education Students
- Disconnected Learners
- 5%of the student population in November were receiving in-person opportunities.
Lackamas Elementary is strongly focused on providing the best education possible to prepare our students for success during their school years and beyond. Our goal is to make learning relevant, challenging, and fun. Our highly qualified staff encourages students to become inquisitive, lifelong learners.
Your support of our teachers has been so appreciated during these pandemic times. We will continue to provide high-quality instruction and opportunities for students to connect with their peers virtually. We look forward to seeing our families at socially distanced activities like "Meet and Beep". Please know, your engagement with us virtually during conferences brought us so much joy. We want you to continue to reach out when you experience something that is tough so we can be a supportive resource in finding solutions.
