The Round-Up
The Sonoma Ranch Elementary School Principal's Newsletter
Issue 253
Hello Stallion Families,
We had an awesome week at the Ranch last week! Our StuCo Sock Drive started off strong! We are so close to meeting out goal! The PTSO Movie Night on Friday night was a big success! A great crowd enjoyed Princess Bride under the almost full moon. On Saturday a stampede of Stallions marched in the Gilbert Days Parade! It was a fantastic week!
This is a super short week, with school only on Monday and Tuesday. Lunch on Monday is Popcorn Chicken and Waffles, and on Tuesday it will be Cheese Raviolis or Individual Cheese Pizza served with Green Beans or Carotinees

Pies!
As the Thanksgiving Holiday approaches, let's show the Sonoma Ranch staff how much we appreciate them. We are seeking pumpkin pie donations so every staff member can take home a pie for the holiday.
Can you donate a pie or two? Please click here to sign up for a pie donation.
Lots of pies are needed! Please commit to a donation if able. All pies should to be dropped off at Sonoma Ranch Elementary on Monday, November 22nd.
Thank you for your help!
COVID
While at times it can feel like COVID is in the past, unfortunately it is not. We have not had a week without studnets impacted by COVID related issues. We continue to recommend that everyone wear masks, and of course ask that anyone who does not feel well to please stay home from school.
As always, should you have any questions related to Sonoma Ranch and our COVID safety measures, please do not hesitate to email me at colin.kelly@gilbertschools.net.

Lunch (and breakfast) is FREE
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has extended free meals for children 18 years and younger until further notice to help ensure all children have access to nutritious food as the country recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gilbert Public Schools will provide combo meals at no cost to students for breakfast and lunch. A combo meal includes an entree, fruit and/or vegetable and beverage (milk and/or juice).
We certainly encourage our families to take advantage of this opportunity.
