TRIO COMPETES IN SPEECH BOWL AT UWW
Each student competed against at least 30 other competitors from Southern Wisconsin schools of all sizes and levels of experience.
Although we didn't medal in any event, Coach Miller and Coach McCulloch are proud of these three students for taking a risk and trying something new, and we are looking forward to growing our program next season!
Interested students should look for communication about joining next year's team as early as next September!

Students who wish to participate should pick up a parental consent form from Mrs. Sonmor-Wintz in Student Services.
Students may sign up for an appointment after they have returned the permission form signed by their parents. More information will be coming after spring break!
The driving purpose of this event is to celebrate multiculturalism, community, and diversity across the schools of WUSD and the Whitewater community.
If you have been in the district for some time, a motivating factor for the creation of this event was the desire to recognize the diverse heritages and cultures of our district, as well as the love for the EL/ML Holiday Event that used to occur in the district and the desire to bring it back with an inclusive approach. Thus, the Multicultural Heritage Showcase!
It is important to note that this event aims to celebrate ALL cultural heritages and ethnicities, from European to Asian to Latinx to Indigenous and Native American to African American! We would love to have representation from all of our diverse backgrounds in this event through art, food, and performance. Our focus begins with K-12 participants and extends to staff, families, and community members, as well.
We are seeking out family/parent interest in participating by bringing food for the community meal, considering providing a performance, or volunteering for the event.
For this, the Multicultural Heritage Showcase Parent Poll and Interest Form has been made. Please fill out this form by March 17th.
