What is going on in your child's class this month?

A Sneak Peak At Our Month!

Math In Class:
  • We will be focusing on learning numbers 0-9
  • We will begin learning to trace numbers 1-4
How YOU can help:
  • Help students locate objects around the house or in the grocery store and identify how many items are present
  • Draw some numbers (1-4) on a paper and help them practice tracing them

Reading In Class:

  • We will be reading Mother Goose stories
  • We will learn to role play characters from the books
How YOU can help:
  • Read to your child 15-20 minutes each night!

Science In Class:

  • We will be looking at different types of plants and flowers

How YOU can help:

  • Look around where you live and places you go and talk about the plants you see

Social Studies In Class:

  • We will be talking about what it is like to be a good citizen

How YOU can help:

  • Talk with your child about some good deeds and things we can do everyday to be a good citizen

A Flash Back in October!

Fall Festival!

This month our Pre-K department will be taking an adventure to Hickory Farm for a fall festival!

Where: Hickory Farm

When: November 22 from 9:00am to 1:00pm

Transportation: Provided for students ONLY

What to bring: $2 by November 20 OR lunch from home on the day of event

Activities include:

  • Hay ride around the farm
  • Pumpkin painting
  • S'mores will be provided after lunch for everyone!
  • Sack lunches at 11:30 (Must bring $2 by November 20) or bring lunch from home

Parents are invited to join in on the fun but will need to provide their own transportation to Hickory Farm. ALL students must use transportation provided by the school. We look forward to spending the day with everyone who can attend!
