Greece and Rome
Greece had many different governments. This is because Greece was made up of many different, independent city-states and each one had their own government. These city-states included a city and it's surrounding countryside. Each city-states had it's own laws' customs, and government.
The Romans contributed to the world of today with: systems of law, Latin language, spread of Greek ideas, spread of Christianity, greater freedom for women, development of the dome, and many more.
