Student Council Applications Due October 4th
Student applications require a C+ or higher and two teacher recommendations. These applications will be due to me, Lori Erickson 6th grade Science teacher (room E106) by October 4th. After applications are in, each student who applied will have October 7-10 to campaign. Students are allowed to put up 1 poster in their team’s hallway. Representatives will be voted for on October 11th. Each team will have two representatives. From that representative pool, we will elect President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary within our Student Council.
Once we have our representatives, they may be dropped if their grades drop below a C+ or if they have more than one level 2 behavior in a nine week period. Alternates will be appointed by the Team Teachers. Meetings will be held with students on a bi-monthly basis at 7:10 on Thursdays once representatives are elected.

Morning Walking Opportunity
• Each grade level will walk once a week. The grade level of the day will be posted on the Auxiliary gym doors and announced when they get off the bus.
• Students can only walk on the day assigned to their grade level.
• Students will walk on the track when the weather is nice. When winter begins students will be in the Auxiliary gym.
• Bookbags will be stored by the fence outside and in the bleachers in the gym.

• This is NOT mandatory.
• Students may not switch gyms or go inside during walking.
