Plane Crshes due to The Havey Snow

On January 13, 1982 the flight leaving to Florida crash into the Potomac River. On that day there was heavy snow and the pilots left there anti ice systems off, as a result both of the plane's censors frozen cuasing them to misread the pressure ratio. When the plane was coming down it crashed into the 14th street bridge causing death; 78 people were killed. The bridge was destroyed and they were only 5 survivors.

74 people died on board from the impact of the crash, and 4 motorists died in the crash. Leaving only 5 survivors.
