Techniques and Styles of professional animation
Claymation is one of MANY forms of stop motion animation. It involves the moving of clay figures after taking a snapshot of the clay before moving it. By slightly moving the clay over and over again and capturing each frame many times you get an illusion that tricks the viewer of the pictures into seeing the clay object move without any help of an animate object.
