Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy written by willian shakespeare.
Romeo and Juliet first met at a ball that was organized by the Capulet family (Juliet family).
they fall in love, But they come from families which hate each other. They are sure they will not be allowed to marry.
Friar Laurence want to help, so he decided to married them in secret.
Unfortunately, before their wedding night Romeo kills Juliet's cousin in a duel, and in the morning he is forced to leave the city. If he ever returns, he will be put to death.
Juliet's parents told her she must marry Paris (kinsman of the Prince of verona). Her parents dont know she is already married.
She refuses in the beginning, but later agrees because she plans to fake her death and escape with Romeo, again with the help of Friar Laurence.
Frair Laurence designs the plan. He gives Juliet a sleeping potion. She appears to be dead and was put in a tomb. However, Romeo doesnt know about the plan, visits her grave, thinks she is dead, and kills himself. When Juliet finally wakes up, she discovers that Romeo is dead and then kills herself too .

A beautiful thirteen-year-old girl, Juliet begins the play as a naive child who has thought little about love and marriage, but she grows up quickly upon falling in love with Romeo.
she is a strong women who knows exactly what she wants.
she listens to herself and follows her dreams even knowing her dreams are not welcome in her family, she decides to follow her heart and be with Romeo.
Romeo
At the beginning of the play he is madly in love with a woman named Rosaline, but the instant he lays eyes on Juliet, he falls in love with her and forgets Rosaline.
Romeo like Juliet follows his dreams ,marries Juliet , no matter what price he would have to pay.
Friar Lawrence
He always ready with a plan, and always wants to help.
Lord Capulet
The patriarch of the Capulet family, father of Juliet, husband of Lady Capulet, and enemy of Montague.
He loves his daughter, though he is not well acquainted with Juliet’s thoughts or feelings, and seems to think that what is best for her is a “good” match with Paris. the best for Juliet is what Capulet Decide for her.
Lord Montague
He appears again at the end of the play to mourn Romeo, having already lost his wife
Mercutio
He is generally thought to be reckless, a jester, and a free spirit.
After Romeo receives a death threat from Tybalt, Mercutio expects Romeo to engage Tybalt in a duel. However, Romeo refuses to fight Tybalt, as Tybalt is Juliet's cousin and therefore his kinsman
Mercutio is incensed, and decides to fight Tybalt himself. Romeo, not wanting his best friend or his relative to get hurt, intervenes, causing Mercutio to be killed by Tybalt stabbing under Romeo's arm.
my opinion
In addition, I am very connected romance books , and I love to read them , so I chose this book - one of the famousest romance books.
At first , I didnt like the book. I thought it was boring and complicated and I didnt understand the relationships between the characters .But after a few pages I fell in love with the story , and I couldnt stop reading it.
