BTES Updates
Hope everyone that is celebrating "Mother's Day" has a wonderful day with their families. This week we are going to begin the process of breaking down the rooms and getting our school ready for next year. I will do my best to keep everyone informed throughout the week. Please keep in mind the schedule below when coming to school. Hope everyone has a great week.
Weekly Schedule
Monday May 11
- National Eat What You Want Day
Tuesday, May 12
- National Limerick Day
Wednesday, May 13
- National Apple Pie Day
Thursday, May 14
- National Buttermilk Biscuit Day
Friday, May 15
- National Chocalate Chip Day
- Finish up CRMS sixth grade student placement. I know she said the end of May on the form, but I want to make sure this is done. Use this link to let me know that you are done.
Reminders
- As per Dr. Roselli's request, please continue to share whatever you can with Sue Orlowsky for Facebook.
- Kevin and I will be meeting with Dr. Zito this week to further discuss CAR - we will share details when we have them.
- Please continue to share with Kevin or I any families that are struggling or might need some assistance - we will do our best to help them out.
- Please continue to communicate with all families and students.
- Get your students to join our Goosechase - Join Code: 4XQ8PJ - Not to late!
- Sharing Board - Google Classroom, Google Meet, Google Slides
- 6th Grade Graduation - Just to give you a heads up. One of the thoughts is for homeroom teachers to record themselves saying something to their class, read their names and then say goodbye. I really am thinking it should be no longer than 2 to 3 minutes. I will confirm this format shortly. Just wanted you to begin thinking about the plan.
Things to Remember
- If there are open spots on the schedule you are more than welcome to add a second time if needed - teachers first.
- If you are working in the building and you need to stay longer, just check the schedule and add your name if a slot is available.
- If you have furniture that needs to be removed, the custodians can help you get it outside.
- Bulletin board must be cleared, however, you can keep the background paper up.
- In your room will be a box for computer stuff, paper bags and garbage.
- Please practice social etiquette if you are moving around the building.
- As always, any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. My extension when I am in the building is 2080 - Kevin's is 2002.
