Welcome Back Crusaders!
2021-2022 School Year Information
Dear Crusader Families,
It is hard to believe the 2021-2022 school year will be starting soon!
I am very excited to announce some updates for the new school year. Please take time to read all of the information listed below.
If at any time, you have a question or concern, please do not hesitate to ask.
I look forward to having an amazing school year!
Meet the New Principal
I am very fond of the fellowship and bond that is felt within the entire St. Francis de Sales Community. I have 13 years of Catholic School experience, with 8 years being a Catholic School Principal. I am a product of Catholic School education.
I believe that a Catholic School education forms the entire child: spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally.
I have primarily worked in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and the Diocese of Covington. I obtained my Master’s degree in Education Administration from Xavier University, receiving Summa Cum Laude honors. I attended Wittenberg University for my undergraduate work, receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Education.
I currently reside in Liberty Township where I enjoy spending time with my 3 children (Xander, Wyatt, Giana) and my husband Zack.
I am extremely blessed and fortunate to be a part of such a supportive community. I look forward to meeting and begin building relationships with everyone!
Mask Policy Update
Many thanks to all of our families, teachers, and staff for going above and beyond in the 2020-2021 school year to comply with all of the COVID policies and regulations that were in place. Due to everyone's commitment, St. Francis de Sales School was able to have a full academic year with in-person instruction.
On June 2, the Ohio Department of Health rescinded Pandemic Health Orders. Several pandemic health orders were rescinded or lifted. This action removes several statewide requirements enacted to protect the health and safety of Ohioans during the COVID-19 pandemic, including the statewide mask mandate.
For the 2021-2022 school year, St. Francis de Sales will be moving to an optional mask policy. Families should determine if they would like their child to wear a mask during the school day. We will continue to ask staff and students to monitor their health daily and to stay home when they are ill.
We will continue to monitor the health changes in our community, the guidelines given and adjust as needed to this policy.
If there are any additional questions, please call the school office.
Thank you for all you are doing to keep our students and staff safe!
